Our research

One of our goals is to work on further developing Schema Therapy through research and writing. Until now, we have cooperated with colleagues from the Universities in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Macedonia with whom we worked on examining the associations between Early Maladaptive Schemas or Schema Modes and:

  • Variety of symptoms
  • Family functioning
  • Parenting styles
  • Attachment
  • Societal trauma
  • Empathy
  • Personality traits

Thus far we have presented and published a number of papers and five books / book chapters:
