Elisaveta Sekulovska

Education

I am a psychologist with more than two decades of professional experience. I graduated in psychology from the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, North Macedonia (1998). My postgraduate training includes Transactional Analysis (2005–2013), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (2009–2012), and Schema Therapy (2018), achieving advanced competence in Schema Therapy in 2024. I am also trained in creative phototherapeutic tools through Points of You Academy, Israel (2020). In 2024/2025, I enrolled in a master’s program in clinical and counselling psychology and conducted research on the clients’ perceptions of the effectiveness of online psychological counselling and psychotherapy compared with traditional face-to-face psychotherapy.

Professional experience

Over the past decade, I have worked exclusively in private practice, integrating both traditional and contemporary therapeutic approaches. Since 2018, I have specialized in Schema Therapy, training at the Schema Therapy Center Belgrade under Dr. Tijana Mirović. I work with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, and personality disorders. Clients consistently recognize the benefits of Schema Therapy, appreciating its structured yet empathic framework for lasting change. Earlier in my career, I gained extensive experience working both individually and in groups across various institutions, delivering counselling and psychotherapy online (well before the pandemic) and face-to-face, with a focus on strengthening personal resources, fostering trust, and applying a multimodal approach.
