I live in Bucharest, Romania, where I run training courses in individual schema therapy through the Romanian Institute of Schema Therapy which I founded, together with other 2 colleagues. I have an experience of 16 years in private practice as a clinical psychologist and a CBT psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor. I am the general secretary of the Association of Hypnotherapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for 10 years and also provide trainings and workshops in CBT for 10 years. I am a registered clinical psychologist and psychotherapist at the Romanian College of Psychologists and have worked with oncological patients in the Oncological Institute of Bucharest and with children in foster homes and abused children and youngsters within the social services. I have also trained in Ericksonian Hypnosis at Milton Erickson Foundation in Phoenix- Arizona, systemic therapy for families, brief strategic therapy, solution focused therapy, transactional analysis and trauma informed therapy. I hold a master degree in clinical psychology and cognitive behavioral psychotherapy and I am currently a PhD. student at the Romanian Academy. In private practice I work with adults with different presentation and my work focuses mainly on personality disorders and trauma. I’ve been teaching workshops on clinical psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy, hypnosis and trauma for 10 years now, in cooperation with other associations that provide psychological trainings in Romania. I am running therapy groups since 2007, working with combined modalities of therapies that I later found out were very similar to schema therapy and I am now in supervision as a group schema therapist. I am an Advanced Schema Therapist, trainer and supervisor and I am the first person that got the certification in my country. I was the main organizer for schema therapy trainings in Romania and until now we already have 200 trainees only in Bucharest. I am passionate about travelling, meeting new people and getting to know new places, I love reading and cooking, walking and drinking tea.
