I have been working in the field of mental health, psychotherapy and clinical psychology since 1992. My professional experience and education I gained in many countries – I was born in Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1967, my psychology studies I finished in Belgrade, Serbia, while in Wien, Austria I finished my education in Gestalt therapy and gained working experience as a clinical psychologist at Peregrina, Counseling center for foreign women. In the USA, San Francisco, I attended PsyDoc studies in clinical psychology and worked with victims of terror and torture for Survivals International. In Hague, Netherlands I worked for twelve and a half years for PsyQ, outpatient diagnostic and psychotherapeutic institution in two departments, the Department for Psychotrauma and the Department of Family and Relational Therapy. Since 2016 I’ve been exclusively working in private practice. In the Netherlands, I completed a recognized psychotherapeutic education, specialization in Schema therapy, specialization as a supervisor of Integral psychotherapy and Schema therapy, specialization in EMDR (European practitioner) and gained a twelve and a half year experience in the field of Systemic therapy (family and marital therapy). I also attended education in Dialectical behavioral therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion based cognitive therapy. I am especially interested in the possibilities of combining different therapeutic directions, such as Schema therapy, EMDR and Mindfulness.

I practice Schema therapy in individual and relational setting. At Dutch association of Schema therapists I have been a junior (standard) since 2012, a senior since 2014 (advanced) and a supervisor since 2015. As of 2019 I am an advanced Scheme therapist, supervisor and a coach for ISST.

My field of interest is psychotrauma, personality disorders and relational problems. In the Netherlands I work using Dutch, English and Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian in the field of psychotherapy as well as in the field of supervision.

Private life: I am married with two sons. I enjoy running, I meditate diligently and on a daily basis, I like to read and listen to music. Looking forward to meeting you all!
